At Ride On E-Bikes, we’re more than just a local bike shop — we’re a family with a story, and that story begins with love, strength, and the healing power of the ride.
Our journey started in Dunedin, Florida, when our co-founder Richard was diagnosed with cancer. During one of the hardest times in his life, Richard found peace and purpose in something unexpected: riding electric bikes. Each ride gave him a sense of freedom, joy, and control — a way to keep moving forward when everything else felt uncertain.
That spark led him to start building eBikes in his garage, not as a business at first, but as a form of therapy. It became his passion. One bike turned into many, and soon Richard was sharing them with friends, family, and eventually local shops who believed in what he was doing. The positive response from our community was overwhelming — and inspiring.
From those humble beginnings, Ride On E-Bikes was born.
